Everyone realizes why unions originated and everyone's need for job security. Consequently, I believe Democrats, Independents, and Republicans all have a vested interest in management and labor working more cohesively going forward.

In college I minored in Labor Management. One area that I would like management and labor to focus more on is addressing the issue of age discrimination. If Congress modifies Social Security, workers have to be protected and confident that they can hold on to their jobs as they approach their golden years. We all want to be in a position to retire as close to what was planned as much as possible.
